Special/Unique Qualifications:
The Account Manager serves as the primary customer service contact for the branch, ensuring that BRICKMAN has a sustained, long-term, loyal relationship with our clients. The Account Manager works to achieve total client satisfaction and fully leverage the relationship to benefit the client and BRICKMAN. This person is responsible for the management of a client portfolio of multiple key clients, focusing on maximizing revenue growth and client retention. An Account Manager must have the ability to nurture and develop client relationships while serving as an advisor for landscape enhancement recommendations. Responsibilities include: • Develop and maintain strong and positive, long-term client relationships which lead to contract renewals of each account within the customer portfolio. • Perform “site walk throughs” with customers to ensure quality and service expectations are met. • Proactively present landscape site enhancement suggestions and horticultural guidance to current clients. • Collaborate closely with our team members in the field to create ways to increase efficiencies, productivity and quality. • Network to support Regional Business Development team in securing new sales opportunities. • Work closely with the Branch Manager in providing overall leadership for the branch. The ideal candidate will possess: • College degree and minimum of 5 years customer service and leadership experience within the green industry and familiarity with the San Diego area. • Strong horticulture knowledge. • A passion for landscape maintenance. • Demonstrated ability to build strong, positive working relationships with customers and team members. • Experience with budgets, estimating, preparing proposals, and billing. • Professional demeanor and superior communication skills, both oral and written. • Proficient in MS Office applications. • Bilingual Spanish a plus.
