A horticulturist for the Chicago Park District, Theodore W. Brickman, Sr. founded Theodore Brickman Landscaping in 1939. The company's early success was the by-product of an unwavering commitment to live out the Golden Rule with clients and employees. Mr. Brickman's son, Dick, joined the company in 1954 after earning a degree in Landscape Architecture.
